Warranty and complaints


The warranty period for goods purchased at the VEDA Eshop is normally 24 months and at least 12 months in the case of second-hand goods and sale goods. The warranty period begins on the date of receipt of goods to customers. A warranty service is provided by VEDA. Incompleteness of shipments or damage to goods must be notified within 48 hours of receipt of shipment by e-mail to vedainfo@savba.sk or by phone on weekdays at +421 2209202 06. Complaints filed later than this due to incomplete shipment or mechanical damage may not be accepted.If you wish to submit a complaint on purchased goods, please contact us in advance. Please send disputed merchandise (preferably on agreement with us), to the following address: VEDA, SAS Publishing, Dúbravská cesta 9, 845 02 Bratislava, Slovakia. We recommend that you send the goods as a package by registered mail. Please do not send products per cash on delivery. Attach a copy of the tax document (invoice) to the package with which we sent the goods as well as a copy of the receipt confirmation from the courier. Disputed merchandise can also be brought in person to our shop in Bratislava but please be advised that complaints cannot be processed there directly. Upon receipt of disputed goods, we will contact you immediately per e-mail or phone and arrange a meeting with you to expedite resolution of the complaint. If you file a claim that is justified you can decide to have the goods in question replaced piece for piece and bear the cost of its return, or you have the right to terminate the contract in which case we will issue a refund. Complaints will be processed as soon as possible, but not later than 30 days after receipt of a complaint and disputed goods. The outcome of the complaint will be informed immediately following complaint procedure by e-mail or telephone. In the case of sale goods (i.e. the title with "Now for 1 Euro") we assume no responsibility for damage caused by their use or wear. It is therefore not possible to make claims for damage sustained to discounted items.
